edited photos don't upload as edited
bilang:...you would recall this would simply work...just. ...after editing on iPad, using iPhoto app, the IOS Photo anthology now DOES display the photograph in it's edited form... used to NOT do this, forcing me to export to Camera Roll offset. Now, the Merely viewable photo in the Photo album is in fact the edited i; all well and good, that'southward what I'd like to upload to flickr... Withal, uploading to Flickr these supposedly edited photos only uploads the persistent UNEDITED version. I understand the underlying stuff going on, that iPhoto is but creating "filters", if you will.... only the IOS albums only display what I would imagine are now finished pictures... Do I really accept to now babysit uploads, ten at a time from iPhoto? (Equally it has a 10 photo limit at a time) Using Flickr to upload allows many (I believe upward to 200, joy!) Simply, doesn't seem to be able to admission the photos in their edited state. Do I really have to consign (over again, ten :( at a time) from iPhoto to an IOS album Showtime in lodge to groove with the larger amounts of truly edited photos.... Sorry for the details... yous would remember some of these programmers would be going through some of this... pretty typical scenario, yes? |
KerenO! bilang: I take no idea, but I wonder if you automatically upload your photostream to Flickr as I do? In which case that might explain why the unedited photos show up.
The Searcher bilang:Flickr can't do anything nearly this. It volition display any image you send it as that image looks. If the "edits" aren't permanent, if your choice of editing tool is just storing your edit information and displaying the changes "live" for yous just not actually irresolute the prototype, then your issue is with that tool. Flickr tin't change an image at all, then it tin can't go into your folder and collect unedited content and then edit it on the fly before it gets here. You're going to have to talk to Apple, encounter if they accept a way to permanently set the edits you lot make from inside the tool y'all want to utilise. If they can't and so aye, yous'll have to keep to export them start so they lock in your changes.
Ange Halle bilang: Something similar can happen with older programs, non ipad, iPhones. I encountered this recently. Especially if I change the rotation of an image, later on uploading to flickr, the edit (in this case the rotation) does non stay. Although the change had been stored, the original orientation came up in flickr. Several other prople have mentioned this as well. And another edit which is non recorded consistently after uploading to flickr is the little image (in organize or in photo page, etc). I have oft seen the original image (before a change was stored), be information technology the color, cropping, etc. in the little strip / preview. However, the photopage contains the editted paradigm. (Nonetheless every bit things have been irresolute, I can only vouch for the orientation edit not taking in the recent flickr versions). This happened ofttimes earlier, and not even with Ipads, or iPhones. Did you check if the small preview image matched the epitome in your photopage?

jin sook1 bilang:cheers for all the great replies... I kinda came to the same conclusions as I was typing... y'all have to tread very carefully in IOS photos, as information technology'southward so like shooting fish in a barrel to delete albums... cheers once again. I exported to Photographic camera roll, then up to Flickr... all's well. l at a fourth dimension, which is a big improvement. |
